Unique Pizza and Subs Announces New Lease Signed in North Carolina

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) — Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation (Pink Sheets:UPZS), a Delaware Corporation, announces that LKN Investment Partners LLC has signed a new lease for an impressive 4,200 square foot space at 215 Salisbury Road, Granite Quarry, NC with a projected opening late October ’07. This location is the second for LKN Investment Partners and the third location in the North Carolina market with additional openings planned for the remainder of 2007. This 4,200 square foot location will have a capacity of 125 people with seating of 75 in the dining room, 25 in the bar area, and 25 on the outside deck along with having a separate banquet room capable of seating 50 for many community functions. Besides offering Unique Pizza’s extensive menu, the plans are for karaoke nights, video games, and many plasma TVs to make this a destination for the whole community.

In addition, the first location of LKN Investment Partners at 2263 Spider Lane, Concord, NC is planning on opening ahead of it projected late September date. LKN’s enthusiasm has motivated the contractors working on the project to do everything possible to get this location open earlier than expected.
