A restaurant with a dirty bathroom probably has a dirty kitchen, too—at least, that’s the opinion of 89% of respondents to this year’s Healthy Hand Washing Survey by the Bradley Corporation. Worse, 56% say that if they come across an unclean or unpleasant restroom in any business, they will not return or will think twice before going back. “Restroom cleanliness is extremely important to diners and silently shapes impressions of the restaurant that they’ll remember even after the visit,” a Bradley Corporation exec says.
