According to the Washington Post, “Head on down to Capitol Hill today and you may see a crowd gathered at Third and Pennsylvania, where Spike Mendelsohn has opened his latest restaurant, We the Pizza, next door to his Good Stuff Eatery.”

“I had a chance to check out the new restaurant last week, and here is what you can expect: a good selection of traditional and original pizza options, including seven vegetarian options, among which the mushroom pie is a true standout. There is an old fashioned soda fountain where the crew whips up Manhattan egg creams and hand-made ginger ales. The soda fountain has its own line and cash register, so if you are waiting in the restaurant to pick up a carry-out order you can grab a drink without waiting through the main line.”
