“An Augusta Township, MI family is welcoming help after a fire destroyed their house on July 1,” according to the Ypsilanti Courier.

“Anyone interested in helping the Young family is currently being directed to a fundraiser on July 24 at four Mr. Pizza locations. Part of the proceeds of orders that day will benefit the family.

Participating locations include 6054 Rawsonville Road and 9860 Haggerty Road in Belleville, and 800 Ecorse Road and 1484 Washtenaw Road in Ypsilanti.

Matthew and Shannan Young and their 1-year-old daughter Danica survived the fire uninjured, but lost basically everything they owned.

This fundraiser was started when Jack Carpenter, Shannan Young’s sister, went to ask Mr. Pizza owner Bob Vick if he could place flyers at the business to help his sister’s family after the fire.”
