According to the Denver Business Journal, ” After 22 years as one of the many small pizzerias operating in the Denver area, Pasquini’s has decided it wants a bigger piece of the pie.”

“The company, which has four franchised restaurants in Denver and Douglas counties, wants to have contracts in place to double the number of stores by the end of 2010. It’s talking with potential franchisees in Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins. Nationally, restaurant traffic fell 2 percent in the 12-month period ending in September, and the pizza industry fared even worse with a 4 percent drop, according to The NPD Group, a Chicago-area restaurant analyst. But though their sales were flat in 2009, the owners of Pasquini Franchising LLC think this is an ideal time to grow the business.”
