This year National Pizza Week in Chicago is going to the dogs. Nellcote on Randolph Street is donating proceeds this week to a no-kill dog rescue organization.
The Chicago Tribune reports the second week in January is National Pizza Week, and at least one Chicago-area restaurant is getting a head start.
Pizza choices include sunny-side up organic egg with fontina, mozzarella and arugula; spicy n’duja with Calabrian salami, pickled peppers, spinach, garlic and smoked provolone. A portion of the sale of each of these gourmet pizzas will go to One Tail At A Time, a no-kill dog rescue organization.
