A Connecticut mother of seven organizes a party featuring free pizza for New Haven's homeless.

The shindig, says the ShorlelineTimes.com, includes toys, warm clothes and hot pizza, and New Haven’s homeless are invited. For the past year, Madison resident Susan McDevitt and her family, joined by a growing group of Shoreline volunteers, has fed hundreds of New Haven homeless through their monthly pizza parties. Dubbed the Pizza People, many look forward to their visits.

They have fed as many as a hundred individuals.
