DETROIT, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. today announced the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes in conjunction with the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. “This three-phase promotion gives customers multiple chances to win great football and pizza prizes, while raising awareness nationally for the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl,” said Linda “LJ” Jaworski, senior vice president, Marketing & Communications, Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. “We are excited to offer a fun bowl game experience for football and pizza fans everywhere, and we look forward to announcing a special nationwide pizza offer during the game.”

During the first phase of the promotion, from Nov. 1 through Dec. 13, people can play by texting “Pizza Bowl” to 87963 or play online at LCPizzaBowl.com. If they are a winner, a code will be given instantly, which can be entered online to redeem prizes. Fifteen hundred people across the country will win a Little Caesars pizza party (awarded as a $25 Little Caesars gift card). Contestants who do not win a gift card will be awarded a coupon for a free Crazy Bread® with the purchase of any HOT-N-READY® pizza on their first non-winning try.

During the second phase of the promotion, from Dec. 14 through Dec. 26, all entrants from the first phase are automatically entered into the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl “Squares” Sweepstakes. Beginning Dec. 20, entrants will receive random football square numbers for the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl, which takes place on Dec. 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN. The contestants whose football square intersects with the last digits of each team’s score at the end of each quarter will be entered into a random drawing for their chance to win a Bowl Game Getaway to the corresponding College Bowl Game event:

  • 1st quarter – The College Bowl Game event on Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif.
  • 2nd quarter – The College Bowl Game event on Jan. 3 in Miami
  • 3rd quarter – The College Bowl Game event on Jan. 4 in New Orleans
  •  
  • Final – The championship College Bowl Game event on Jan. 10 in Glendale, Ariz.

Each Bowl Game Getaway includes two tickets to the corresponding bowl game, plus hotel and airfare.
