The group includes a number of McAndrews’ friends, several with restaurant franchise experience, who share a passion for LaRosa’s. “We fondly remember hanging out at pizzerias when we were growing up. One night while reminiscing, my friend, John Boike (longtime Knoxville restaurateur and Cincinnati native), convinced us to check out LaRosa’s from Cincinnati”, said McAndrews. “We all tried LaRosa’s and loved it. Not only the food, but also the atmosphere and the heritage of service. We all thought Knoxville would really embrace a family pizzeria like LaRosa’s”, McAndrews continued. “And here we are! “

Mike LaRosa, CEO and son of Buddy LaRosa, founder of LaRosa’s, said, “My father served our Guests by reaching out to them and making them smile. That’s still our standard of service at LaRosa’s. Matt and his group get that; they have that passion to please Guests. We are thrilled to have them as our partners and excited to see Cedar Bluff open in February”.Six decades ago, founder Buddy LaRosastarted with just $1,200 and one restaurant on the west side of Cincinnati.

Remarkable Guest Service

LaRosa’s has always been focused on making its Guest service better. Over 25 years ago, LaRosa’s saw an opportunity to improve ordering for carry out and delivery. “At most pizza places, ordering can be a hassle. You’re either talking to someone in a busy, noisy kitchen who’s not really focused on you, or you’re using an online tool that likely won’t let you order your food just the way you want it”, said Mike LaRosa. So, LaRosa’s created its Guest Service Center, which is still considered innovative in the pizza business today.

Guests can order online atlarosas.com, by smart phone app or by calling toll-free at 888-LAROSAS. “Our Guest Service Center is a true extension of the dining room experience. Everyone is there to make sure that your order is right, just like a server” said Mike LaRosa. “If you order online or with our app, you can get exactly what you want, and we’ll make it exactly how you like it, every time. Our Guest Service Representatives are focused only on you and will get your order right. And, if you have any questions or issues with your order, they’ll get that right, too” he said.

Today, LaRosa’s has a passionate Guest following with pizzerias in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. The Cedar Bluff location marks LaRosa’s 66thlocation.
