FoodMix Marketing Communications has officially opened The Mix Culinary Collective, a new culinary and content studio designed to bring food brands, ideas and insights to life.

Located within FoodMix’s Chicago-area headquarters, The Mix Culinary Collective expands the agency’s capabilities with a dedicated space for culinary development, photography and video production, social content, customer collaboration, operator research, innovation sessions and more.

“We’ve always believed the best food marketing starts with actually understanding the food,” said Sara Hagen, Managing Partner of FoodMix. “The Mix Culinary Collective gives our strategists, creatives, nationwide culinary partners and clients a place to get out of the conference room and into the kitchen. We can test it, taste it, shoot it, talk about it and turn it into something people actually care about.”

The studio was developed as part of FoodMix’s continued investment in capabilities that connect strategy, culinary expertise and content creation under one roof.

“For us, this isn’t just a production space,” said Nadine Baarstad, Managing Partner of FoodMix. “It’s a place to collaborate. We wanted a space within our own four walls where clients, chefs, operators, and our own team could come together to experiment, learn and create.”

The Mix Culinary Collective, a fully equipped culinary kitchen, will support FoodMix clients across foodservice, retail and consumer channels while also serving as a home for the agency’s proprietary research, thought leadership and industry programming.

FoodMix is a food and beverage marketing agency dedicated to growing Brand Love. The agency combines strategy, creative, digital, social, public relations, media, research and culinary expertise to help food and beverage brands connect with the people who buy, sell, serve and love food. FoodMix has been developing and executing integrated B2B2C brand campaigns for some of the biggest and best names in food for more than 25 years.
