"How much pizza can you eat in 15 minutes?

You can find out Sept. 9, when Jersey’s Hope for Hearing hosts a pizza-eating contest at the Liberty Science Center to benefit the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf," according to The Trentonian.

With pies provided by Carmine Testa and Carmine’s Pizza Factory in Jersey City, entrants will break into teams of three and compete to see which team can eat the most pies in 15 minutes. The winning team will get to split the proceeds with the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf and a charity of its choosing, according to a news release.

Before the contest begins, Carmine’s son, Michael “Pizza Boy” Testa, the 8-year-old dough-tossing sensation whose video has gone viral on YouTube, will perform.

The Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf in Ewing, the only statewide pubic school for the deaf and hard of hearing, is nearly 100 years old and in need of critical renovations. If the school is to continue its mission of providing a quality education, it must raise millions of dollars to pay for the work, according to the news release."
