A new Your Pie location in upstate South Carolina also sports a new look for the fast-casual pizza pioneer.

Located at 894 Tiger Boulevard on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, Your Pie Dockside features the brand’s updated store design as well as a second make line specifically for off-premise orders.

The store is locally owned by Doug and Denise Zirbel, who own another Your Pie store in downtown Clemson. The couple, widely revered by Clemson University students and locals alike, was spurred to open a second location in response to the growing popularity of fast-casual pizza concepts following the success of their original store and their desire to increase volume.

The new store’s second make line grants team members the space and resources to prepare to-go and third-party delivery orders separate from dining room guests. The process cultivates a positive in-store experience for guests while increasing the timeliness and quality of off-premise orders, the company said.

“We are excited to further our connection with the outlying Clemson community following the opening of our newest restaurant,” Doug Zirbel said. “Your Pie Dockside features beautiful lakefront scenery, modernized interior design and additional amenities for guests to enjoy during their dining experience.”

“The Clemson market has experienced tremendous growth following the university’s athletic and academic successes,” said Ken Caldwell, vice president of development at Your Pie. “The Zirbels’ connection to the Clemson community is unparalleled. Therefore, it was a natural fit for their family to continue serving the Upstate region and Clemson University students in a new way.”

Your Pie has more than 70 locations nationwide and celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Founded by Drew French in 2008 and inspired by family recipes from the Italian island of Ischia, Your Pie was the first fast-casual pizza concept in the U.S.
