• A Boston Pizza store in Bradford, Ontario, Canada, will host a “Mean Girls” trivia contest this week for fun and prizes.
  • Other contests have focused on TV shows and films like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Stranger Things” and “Hocus Pocus.”

Here’s an idea for a pizzeria promo that’s so fetch: A Boston Pizza location in Bradford, Ontario, Canada is hosting Mean Girls Trivia Night on Tuesday, November 8.

The promotion is part of an ongoing series of trivia nights held at Bradford Boston Pizza over the past month. Other contests have focused on TV shows and films like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Stranger Things,” “Hocus Pocus,” “Friends” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

“Mean Girls,” the hit 2004 film written by Tina Fey and starring Lindsey Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried, is the latest theme. To gain the advantage, it will help if, like Seyfried’s character, you’ve got, like, “ESPN or something.”

The contest is free, but reservations must be booked online in advance. It consists of four rounds of play, with questions of every level of difficulty posed to teams with a maximum number of six people. The paperless game is played via the Trivia Rat app on smartphones, and prizes are offered along the way.

All of the trivia games are powered by Hub of Trivia and Events.
