Fresh Brothers, headquartered in Los Angeles, has partnered with the nonprofit Support + Feed to combat food insecurity across L.A., New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., the company announced recently.
Fresh Brothers is the first company that is not exclusively plant-based to join Support + Feed’s network of restaurants in providing nourishing meals in local neighborhoods. Starting this month, Fresh Brothers will donate plant-based pizzas weekly to Support + Feed, which will distribute them to community organizations such as Mutual Aid Action LA, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro LA and others across the area.
“We’re so honored to work with Support + Feed to make a difference by bringing plant-based food to those in need all over Los Angeles,” said Geoff Goodman, Fresh Brothers’ CEO. “We love the work they’re currently doing and know this partnership will help us serve our communities in a bigger way.”

Fresh Brothers is also participating in Support + Feed’s Plant Based Party, which started today and runs through April 18, raising awareness about the climate crisis and the seriousness of food insecurity in America. Including Fresh Brothers, a multitude of brands will encourage fans to order a plant-based meal from a local restaurant or cook one at home, posting a photo on social media with the hashtag #PlantBasedParty to raise money for the organization. The funds will directly benefit Support + Feed as they continue providing plant-based meals to people in need.

Baird started Support + Feed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with a simple act of kindness: ordering food from her favorite plant-based restaurant to be delivered to a local shelter. This good deed quickly grew into a movement of people who were compelled to help those experiencing food insecurity while supporting local restaurants.
