Planning a wedding is hard enough—postponing or canceling a wedding can be devastating.

Domino’s hopes to ease the pain a bit with its new Rain Check Registry, which allows friends and loved ones to show their support by sending pizza to frustrated couples who can’t tie the knot according to schedule due to the coronavirus crisis.

The registry offers gift-card packages such as the Virtual Bachelorette Party and the Vendor Call-a-Thon to help lovebirds get through the struggles of replanning their postponed weddings.

“We created Domino’s Wedding Registry because pizza-loving couples have shared over the years how Domino’s pizza was a part of their big day,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s VP of advertising, in a statement. “With so many weddings being postponed or scaled back in 2020, we knew those couples might need some extra love from those around them, because everything is better with pizza.”

Couples who create a rain-check registry through Domino’s can select from offerings like the “Small Wedding Now, Big Celebration Later” and the “Bridal Shower, But Make It Virtual” packages, depending on what twists and turns their wedding plans have taken. After creating a registry, they can share their wish list with families and friends on social media or with a unique URL. All gifts will be delivered to the couples in the form of Domino’s e-gift cards.
