In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Rapid Fired Pizza (RFP), a Kettering, Ohio-based fast-casual pizza chain with more than 30 stores in five states, has installed plastic sheeting “walls” at the serving lines of its stores to separate customers from the pizza makers.

“In an effort to protect both our employees and customers, we decided this was an immediate action we could take to do our part in this historic event.” RFP CEO Ray Wiley said in a statement.  “Most stores have already installed the temporary wall, with the remaining stores completing [the install] in the coming hours. To assist with social distancing, we have also marked six-foot spacing distances in customer and employee areas.”

Additionally, the company has moved dipping sauces, cups, lids, straws and shakers from the customer areas.

To provide value for its customers, RFP is running several specials, including a Buy Two Get One Free offer and $5 single-topping pizzas.
