There are two types of pizza lovers: those who leave crusts, and those who eat crusts and crusts that other people leave.

Villa Italian Kitchen will be a haven for the crust-eaters. On July 18, the restaurant will offer “Just the Crust” of its Neapolitan pizzas for $2.50.

“We are huge pizza crust fans at Villa Italian Kitchen,” said Mimi Wunderlich, director of communications and digital market for Villa Italian Kitchen. “We know that the crust is everyone’s favorite part of the pizza, so skipping straight to selling pizza crusts only seemed like the perfect idea.”

The idea came to the restaurant after “a record number of consumer inquiries” on what makes these crusts so delicious.  The pizzeria’s announcement today was a surprise on social media.

Some love the idea.

And some mocked it.

Someone asked an important question.
