“After 51 years in business, Mr. Scrib’s Pizza is branching out from West Michigan for the first time and opening up shop in the Phoenix area,” according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

“The chain’s first Phoenix location opened Monday to little fanfare, but that was on purpose. Local franchisee Bill Cooper wanted to keep it quiet to make sure the location could handle the demand, he said. He plans to open eight to 10 locations in Arizona over the next 18 months to make the brand a household name in the state.”
