According to a news report from AZStarNet.com, “After a stint in the Air Force, what came next for military buddies Michael Silva and Gordon MacIntyre was opening a pizza joint–of course.”
“It’s not just any place that serves the same pies that the others do, they say. Instead, Silva and MacIntyre chose Hungry Howie’s Pizza, a Michigan-based company that markets several flavored crusts — including Cajun and garlic styles,” the article said. “They got the idea for opening a restaurant when they were stationed together at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.”
