According to a report from DailyHerald.com, “The St. Charles pizza parlor that sent a delivery driver to a darkened industrial lot where she was murdered had no workers’ compensation insurance, a lawsuit filed Friday by the driver’s son said.”

The report said, “Karen Hassan, 41, worked at Rosati’s Pizza on Kirk Road in St. Charles and was sent Nov. 2, 2006 to the lot on Powis Road across from Diamonds Gentleman’s Club, said the lawsuit filed by Christopher Hassan, her 23-year-old son.”

The article stated: “According to police and prosecutors, Bradley M. Justice had been at the strip club, where he borrowed a phone from an employee of the club and ordered the pizzas, instructing the business to deliver it to the lot.”
