Pizza Store Employees, Managers to Benefit; Available in English and Spanish

 

Jack Butorac, Jr., president of Marco’s Franchising, LLC, announced the agreement with Root Learning, which like Marco’s, is headquartered in the Toledo area.

Root Learning will develop an innovative 24-module engaging e-Learning program for Marco’s managers and employees that will be available in both English and Spanish. Animation, interactivity and rich visual components will be used to provide training to managers and crew around the various facets of operating a pizza store such as cutting and storing food, making a pizza, and so on, along with the modules on management skills.

“We will provide a training program that will be entertaining and engaging for the store employees, by mixing animation and games with innovative learning design,” explained David Serdynski, managing director of e-Learning practice at Root Learning. “This combination will help maximize retention in the learning process.”

According to Butorac, who has put Marco’s on a growth plan that calls for 500 units by 2010 and expansion into 10 states by the end of 2007, an effective training program is critical to the success of the company in providing customers a quality product repeatedly through the franchise system.
