Naples, FL (February 7, 2007)— Southwest Florida’s newest pizzeria might just change the way you view traditional. One step through the doors and you will quickly relinquish any preconceived notions you may have about pizza take-out.

Mangino’s Pizzeria is a comfortable blend of contemporary, urban-industrial, with a touch of 1930s marketplace mixed-in to reflect the roots of owner, Chuck Mangino, who grew up around the marketplaces of the Northeast. The environment is anything but the plastic flower anointed, checkered table clothes we tend to associate with traditional Italian. One look at the subway-tiled walls, retro-inspired lighting, designer aluminum chairs and lively red walls tells you that Manginos is different.

Chuck, a Newcastle, Pennsylvania native, opened his first pizzeria in 1979 and quickly became known for his deliciously sweet tomato sauce and authentic Italian comfort foods. Determined to distinguish his pizzeria, he decided to design the Naples’ location with a fresh, hip approach— while staying faithful to the Old World recipes that drive those with a hearty appetites to Manginos.

Another Southwest Florida first is Mangino’s Olive Oil Bar. Patrons will enjoy sampling their choice of one of the pizzeria’s herb-infused signature extra virgin olive oils with their favorite Italian specialty. All three blends are also available to take home. Chuck and his staff hand-bottled and gift packaged the exotic oil blends, which are available in Classic Herb, Hot & Spicy and Garlic & Basil.

Chuck hopes to create a new trend in take-out, as he offers traditional Italian with big taste, using the freshest ingredients, all in a unique and memorable environment.
