According to examiner.com, "Walmart store brand pizza is now on the recall list. Following on the heels of the Kellogg's cereal and Scope mouthwash recall this week, Great Kitchen's Inc. has recalled the Marketside, 16-inch BBQ Recipe Thin Crust Chicken Pizza that is sold at Walmart stores nationwide."

"Why the recall? There is a concern that small pieces of plastic may be in the pizza. The recall includes 110,000 pounds of BBQ chicken pizza. According to the USDA's press release, 'The company discovered small pieces of plastic during production of the product.' No reports of illness or injury have been reported. Recalled pizza: 28.5-ounce Marketside, 16-inch BBQ Recipe Thin Crust Chicken Pizza, 14-pound, 4-ounce cases of Marketside 16" BBQ Chicken Pizza, with eight 16-inch pizzas, with case codes of 11016611, 11016621, 11016711, or 11016721. Boxes have the establishment number P-2539B inside the USDA inspection mark."
