According to the Arizona Daily Star, “California Pizza Kitchen appears ready to make the leap into the crowded Tucson restaurant market, which already has 49 pizzeria businesses and dozens more individual pizza outlets.”

“The California-based company has posted notices advertising ‘Restaurant and kitchen manager opportunities’ for a Tucson restaurant on its Facebook page and on its Web page. But the company isn’t saying when it will be coming to Tucson or where it’s hoping to locate, let alone how many people it intends to hire. ‘We do not comment on locations where we do not have an executed lease,’ a California Pizza Kitchen Co. spokeswoman said Friday. California Pizza Kitchen already has five locations in the Phoenix area.”
