According to a news report from columbian.com, “New stores, new pizzas, no trans fat and standbys like pepperoni pies helped Vancouver-based Papa Murphy’s International hit record sales in 2007.”

“Revenue of more than $500 million was an almost 13 percent increase from 2006, the previous record year, according to company officials,” said the story. “The take-and-bake pizza chain also opened 119 new stores to end the year with 1,067 outlets. The company hopes to open 300 new franchised locations during the next two years. Papa Murphy’s is now the fifth-largest pizza company in the country, based on the number of stores.”
