50 Top Pizza, an Italy-based guide to the world of pizza, has named Anthony Mangieri’s Una Pizza Napoletana, located in New York’s Lower East Side, the best pizzeria in the U.S. for the second year in a row.

Over the past year, 50 Top Pizza dispatched its “pizza inspectors” to hundreds of U.S. pizza shops to secretly taste, scrutinize and rank their fare. The verdict was announced on June 27 at New York City in a ceremony broadcast live on 50 Top Pizza’s social network platforms and presented by Andrew Cotto.

Second place went to Jersey City’s Razza Pizza Artigianale, while Ken’s Artisan Pizza in Portland, Oregon, took third place.

In fourth place was Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco, which also captured the Performance of the Year 2023-Robo Award as the only business with two pizza shops featured in this year’s guide: Tony’s Pizza Napoletana and Pizza Rock in Las Vegas (ranked No. 18).

Fifth position went to Chris Bianco’s Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. In the sixth position was New York pizzeria Ribalta, owned by Rosario Procino and Pasquale Cozzolino, which also captured the Best Pasta Proposal 2023-Pastificio Di Martino Award.

Ranked in the seventh position was 0′ Munaciello in Miami, while Jay’s Artisan Pizzeria in Kenmore, New York, took the eighth position and won the Pizza of the Year 2023-Latteria Sorrentina Award for its ‘Nduja pizza.

Song’ E Napule in New York claimed the ninth position and received the Best Fried Food-Il Fritturista 2023-Oleificio Zucchi Award.
