Pizza Hut has announced a new pop-up dining experience focused on its Personal Pan Pizza. The event will allow guests to customize their own 6″ pizza using a new range of toppings the chain introduced earlier this year. The pop-up, called “Personal Pan Pizza Hut,” will open for two days in the New York City area.

The makeshift restaurant will feature modern toppings such as pesto swirl, spicy sauce, chicken sausage, fresh diced garlic and caramelized onions—things that were all part of the company’s most recent menu refresh. According to a press release from Pizza Hut, the initiative aims to give guests the opportunity to enjoy their Personal Pan Pizza in a new way, built around individual preferences.

“Our Personal Pan Pizza is a fan favorite, and we are excited to introduce a new way to enjoy it to pizza enthusiasts,” Melissa Friebe, Pizza Hut’s chief marketing officer, said. “We’re not just serving pizza—we’re reimagining how our guests can experience the Personal Pan Pizza in an innovative, modern and of course, personalized way. It’s a fun and fresh take on celebrating one of our most iconic offerings, fusing together what our guests have always loved about our brand with what they are excited about with our future: modern toppings and recipes, innovative concepts, and Instagram-worthy experiences.”

The pop-up will be open on October 22 from 3—5 p.m. ET and October 23 from 12—7 p.m. ET. Reservations will be available starting October 17 at noon through the Tock platform. According to Pizza Hut, walk-ins will be placed on a waitlist if space allows.

The concept is Pizza Hut’s first attempt at creating a small, reservation-only restaurant experience. It aims to highlight both the brand’s long-standing menu staple and its newest toppings in a personalized, dine-in setting. Throughout October, customers are also encouraged to engage with Pizza Hut on social media to share their own ideas and preferences.
