Imo’s Pizza announced Tuesday that it will soon launch a new line of merchandise in collaboration with St. Louis-based apparel company Series Six. The collection will be available at Series Six’s Richmond Heights storefront beginning Thursday, October 12, and available online starting Friday, October 13.

The merchandise deal is the latest move by the rapidly expanding St. Louis-based pizza chain, which claims 99 locations across Missouri, Illinois and Kansas. The brand has long been known for capitalizing on revenue streams outside of restaurant sales—from frozen pizzas to retail sauces, dressings, marinades and pizza crusts.

Founded by St. Louis native Sami Maurer, Series Six has brought its distinctive vintage-design style to create merchandise for many St. Louis companies and brands—a list that now includes Imo’s. The 17-piece Imo’s Pizza collection, which includes apparel, drinkware, koozies and more, offers something for the whole family—from adults to youths, babies and even pets. The nostalgic graphics featured in the collection take inspiration from some of Imo’s original signage from 1964.

To celebrate the launch of the Imo’s Collection, Imo’s and Series Six will hold an open-house event at the Boulevard Shopping Plaza storefront from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Customers will have an opportunity to view the collection while sampling free Imo’s pizza, and guests over 21 can sample beer from 4 Hands Brewery. Customers spending $20 receive an Imo’s tote bag, and the first 50 customers who spend $50 or more on Imo’s collection merchandise receive a free Imo’s pint glass.

“Creating Imo’s-branded merchandise is something we’ve wanted to do for quite some time, and it’s something fans of the brand have been asking for as well,” said Nicole Carpenter, director of marketing for Imo’s. “We always knew we wanted to work with a local company to make sure we do it the right way, and we found that partner in Series Six.”

“It’s a dream partnership to work with such an iconic and beloved St. Louis brand as Imo’s Pizza,” Maurer said. “I have been a lifelong fan of the Imo’s brand, and I am happy to share some of its history with others through this collection. And for the record, the middle squares of Imo’s are the best pieces of an Imo’s Pizza.”
