""According to the South Bend Tribune, “The 1949 Studebaker firetruck from Huron, S.D., had only 1,300 miles on it when Andrea Georgian and Jim Chaddock found it on Craigslist the day it was listed.

“It stands to have a lot more than that on it though by year’s end, though. Since buying the truck in April, the Beverly Shores, Ind., couple have turned the truck into a mobile, wood-fired pizza oven, hoping to bring the food truck craze sweeping the nation’s larger cities into northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan. The truck, dubbed the Rolling Stonebaker (pronounced as it sounds, although Andrea tells me the pronunciation Stone-uh-baker was discussed), is equipped with everything a pizza maker needs to turn out pies from the wood-fired brick oven.”

“Since Georgian and Chaddock work from the outside of the truck, all the pizzas are assembled fresh and to order. But seeing as the oven runs at about 900 degrees, the wait for a 10-inch thin crust pizza, once it goes in, is about a minute, Georgian says.”
