According to a report from ClickonDetroit.com, “A metro Detroit pizzeria plans to offer free pies if the Lions can win a football game.”

“Four different Shield’s restaurants will give people a free two-topping pizza on the first Tuesday following the Detroit Lions first victory in a regular season game. The offer will be good from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. that day.”

“‘We’re avid supporters of the Detroit Lions and all of the sports teams here in the Motor City,’ said Peter Andoni of Shield’s in a news release. ‘We want to show our loyalty by hosting a free pizza party to celebrate the Lion’s first win.'”

“One to two customers will receive a small pizza, parties of three or more will get a large pizza. There is a catch however, the free pizza is only good for people who dine in the restaurants.The free pizza offer will be available at the following Shield’s locations: Troy (1476 W. Maple), Southfield (25101 Telegraph), Macomb Township (50750 Romeo Plank), and Rochester Hills (1488 Rochester Road).”
