Big news in the food service industry this week when Sysco gave up its merger dreams with US Food after the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. passed an injunction halting the deal. The ruling that Pizzeria Beddia in Philadelphia serves the best pizza in America isn't an official ruling — just the opinion of Bon Appétit's Andrew Knowlton. He says the restaurant's classic, fresh ingredients and charred crust offer a "beautiful experience."
