Thanks to Rudolph, Comet, Blitzen and the gang, Christmas may come early for pizza lovers in northern Japan. Domino’s has a plan to deliver pizza by reindeer in the snowy city of Ishikari. The stunt comes in response to predictions of a brutal winter replete with blizzards and ice storms in the area, RocketNews24.com reports. Trials are taking place now, with the reindeer making practice runs through the snow, bearing hot bags on their backs and pulling pizza-laden sleds.

When Harry’s Met Shake Shack

In celebration of Miami Art Week, Harry’s Pizzeria crossed its signature Short Rib Pizza with a burger from Shake Shack, and Shake Shack returned the favor. The resulting hybrids included the Harry’s Shorty Burger, sold at two Shake Shack locations in Miami, and the Shack-cago Pizza, available at two Harry’s stores. “Chef Michael and I both share an appreciation for the artistic and whimsical elements of food,” said Mark Rosati, Shake Shack’s culinary director, “so it’s only appropriate to debut this menu swap during the biggest week for art—and the busiest of the year—in Miami.”
