Pizza boxes are blank canvases, meant to promoted your pizzeria, specials and more. But for dozens of pizzeria operators throughout New Jersey this month, they'll be promoting a way to save lives.

In an initiative started by the NJ Sharing Network, more than 150 restaurants across the state of New Jersey will promote organ donation during April's National Donate Life Month, according to New Jersey 101.5.

"We talk a lot about having a conversation with your family about organ donation," said Elisse Glennon, NJ Sharing Network vice president and chief administrative officer, in the story. "We don't want you just to register to be a donor, but we want you to have a conversation with your family. So when you order a pizza box, you're typically with other people."

Pizzerias, coffee shops, diners, hospitals, and colleges are all part of the #SaveNJLives effort, which grew from 1,000 pizza boxes last year to 15,000 this year, and from 60,000 coffee sleeves last year to 250,000 this year, according to the story.

How does this story inspire you to use your own pizza box in new, creative and helpful ways?
