This Pizza Place is Rolling Out a ‘Kidz Eat Free’ Promotion

Red Savoy’s Pizza has been serving Minnesota-style pizza since 1965—the brand knows a thing or two about how to run a pizza business. This October, Red Savoy’s Pizza will be trying something new: A promotion where “Kidz Eat Free.”

The offer—a free cheese or pepperoni Kidz Pizza with the purchase of a large specialty pizza—is good every Monday this October at the brand’s 19 locations across Minnesota.

“Red’s Savoy Pizza traditional ‘Passive-Aggressive’ pizza sauce can be a bit too punchy for some kids,” explained a press release sent out by Red’s Savoy Pizza. “The sauce used on the Kidz Pizzas is still flavorful but is designed for the littlest palate. 10” Kidz Pizzas are great for one hungry big kid or two average eaters.”

That unique sauce is the key to the Minnesota or ‘Sota style. Red’s Savoy specializes in a thin-crust pizza, cut into squares, that’s heavy on the cheese and toppings. As for the sauce, the chain’s website describes it succinctly: “Appearing to be simple sweet savory-ness (which it is), you may be surprised it has a bit of a kick (which it does).”

To qualify, customers must be members of Red’s Savoy’s Thank You Rewards program. Folks can easily sign up, the company said.
Every Monday in October the “Kidz Eat Free” offer drops into customers’ Thank You Rewards account.
