According to KTLA.com, “Pizza sauce, sausage and potato chips sound more like a Friday night dinner than key evidence in a burglary, but that’s exactly what officers found while investigating a break-in early Friday morning.”

“Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary around 5 a.m. Friday at a Domino’s Pizza on the 100 block of East Roblar Drive in Ojai. They arrived to find a bag of chips lying next to broken windows and a pool of pizza sauce leading from the kitchen. Security video showed the burglar failing to open the register before proceeding to eat a bag of chips from a display and going into the kitchen. Deputies said they recognized the man in the video as Taylor Christopher Jackson, 19, as a known probationer. ”
