They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but fast-casual leader Blaze Pizza is more concerned about keeping the vampires at bay.

Just in time for the spooky season, Blaze announced its “What Hot” deal for October—the Sausage Garlic Pizza, will sell for $8.99 all month long. The holiday-themed pie comes loaded with shredded mozzarella, sausage, roasted garlic and chopped garlic.

The “What’s Hot” value special was launched in June of this year, reflecting “our commitment to guests to offer fresh and high-quality menu items at everyday affordable prices,” Beto Guajardo, CEO of Blaze Pizza, said at the time.

Meanwhile, starting on October 1, Blaze Pizza is currently holding a Halloween contest and giveaway on Instagram and TikTok. Using the hashtag #BlazeTrickorEatChallenge, the brand is calling on its fans to decorate themselves, their pizza or their pizza box in the “spookiest, funniest or most creative way possible.” The winner gets free pizza for a year.

Each entry must share on Instagram or TikTok one Halloween-decorated item from Blaze Pizza, tag the chain and use the hashtag.

Headquartered in Pasadena, California, Blaze Pizza was founded by Elise and Rick Wetzel in 2011. The company now has more than 340 locations in 38 U.S. states and six countries.
