The BLT Pizza at Jet’s Pizza proved so popular, fans of the brand launched petitions when it was removed from the menu. Now it’s back to stay, the Detroit-style pizza chain has announced.

Jet’s ditched the BLT Pizza in early 2021, much to customers’ dismay.

“I guess it’s true: ‘You don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone,’” said John Jetts, CEO and president of Jet’s America, Inc. “We were overwhelmed with the number of customers who reached out to us, posting on social media, and even starting petitions to bring the BLT back. We are so excited to add this fan favorite back on the menu for good. We know many of our customers have been eagerly anticipating this announcement.”

The BLT Pizza consists of crispy bacon, fresh, shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes and a drizzle of mayo on top. It first appeared on Jet’s Pizza’s menu in June 2002 until it was removed in February 2021.

In addition to the BLT Pizza making its way back onto the menu, Jet’s Pizza plans to introduce a few limited-time-offer pizzas later this year.
