Your Pie, a pioneer in the fast-casual pizza movement, has begun introducing a new menu design across all current and future restaurants.

The modernized menu board design features high-quality product imagery, updated product names for ordering ease, and a convenient pizza sizing chart illustration.

A primary highlight of the menu refresh includes the addition of 7” and 14” pizzas, adding more ways for guests to customize their pies. In place of the colloquial “combo,” new menu board signage will ask guests to “make it a meal,” and, moving forward, the update will remove paninis and chips from Your Pie’s menu offerings. Meanwhile, Your Pie’s youngest guests will now have the ability to select from two entrées—two-topping pizzas or pasta.

“At Your Pie, we strive to make everyday moments better with pizza,” Lisa Dimson, Your Pie’s chief marketing officer, said. “We hope the new menu board design will better serve the needs of our current guests while attracting new ones. By evolving our brand, we stay relevant in the minds of consumers and allow our guests to enjoy your pie, your way.”

Ahead of the official launch on November 7, select Your Pie markets were chosen to participate in a test period of the new menu. The goal of the project was to achieve 3% sales and transaction growth, improve profitability and fuel repeat guest visits, the company said.

“Giving our franchisees the tools they need to operate successful restaurants and serve their communities is at the forefront of everything we do, and elevating our menu is a big part of that,” said Ken Caldwell, vice president of development at Your Pie. “We’re eager to watch the success of our test markets expand into Your Pie restaurants across the country so our franchisees can kick off 2023 with their best foot forward.”

Compared to the previous year, Your Pie stores using the new menu design increased overall meals sold by over 11,000 units, the company said. Menu test markets experienced a 2.4% increase in normalized sales, a 2.2% jump in units sold, and 2% growth in transactions. Test stores outperformed non-test stores by demonstrating a 4.3% increase in normalized sales and a 4.1% increase in both units sold and transactions.

The new menu board implementation plays a key role in the larger Your Pie brand redesign. In addition to the new logo announcement, the chain, which has 69 stores around the U.S., plans to update the interior design of all new stores. In the year ahead, the modernized dining room design will gradually phase into stores that elect to remodel.
