Charlotte, NC; February 22, 2007 — Christopher Sebes, Chief Executive Officer of XPIENT Solutions, LLC, a leading technology solutions provider to the quick service, family dining, fast casual and line service restaurant segments, today announced the appointment of Sean Dugan as Chief Technology Officer. “Sean comes to us from Denny’s where he was responsible for delivering business solutions and technology services for all of Denny’s company restaurants,” Sebes said. “At XPIENT, Sean will be tasked with helping us to manage our rapid growth by continuing to deliver innovative and robust products and provide world-class technical services to customers.”

“I know XPIENT’s products well because I used them for eight years at Denny’s,” Dugan said. “When I joined Denny’s we were using XPIENT’s DOS product. Then we went through a request for proposal for a new technology platform. Our selection process involved a close look at the 10 leading vendors. We brought the 4 top candidates into the lab and looked closely at their technology and feature sets. We concluded at that time that XPIENT had the best point-of sale product in the industry.”

Dugan’s responsibilities at XPIENT will include running the day to day operations of the Product Development organization, Professional Services Group and the Customer Care Center. “I am very excited about having the opportunity to contribute to maintaining XPIENT’s technological leadership in the restaurant systems business.” Dugan said. “My goal is to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of our technology. I will be looking at implementing improved software development methodologies, expanding the product line within our target segments, and offering even better technical services to our customers.”

Prior to joining XPIENT, Dugan was Director of Brand Delivery for Denny’s. He was responsible for overall restaurant systems and also headed up an effort to provide the Denny’s franchise community with an opportunity to participate in a corporate sponsored technology program. The program provides restaurant technology and services though vendor partnerships. Before joining Denny’s, Dugan held various IT positions at Burger King Corporation and was involved in several generations of restaurant technology refreshments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Barry University.
