SAN DIEGO, Calif., (April 22, 2010) – – Woodstock’s Pizza announces the opening of their eighth California location, located in the heart of San Diego’s popular beach community, Pacific Beach.  Woodstock’s Pizza Pacific Beach celebrated their official Grand Opening on March 23rd.

With close to 4,000 square-feet of space, the restaurant features its signature tongue-in-groove cedar and wood booths for family-friendly dining and a centrally located kitchen whereby customers can enjoy watching their pie’s creation.  The venue’s traditional design is warm and casual accented by original local art.

Offering dine-in, take-out and delivery services, Woodstock’s hosts weekly pint nights and trivia nights, along with lunch and late night deals. Woodstock’s has made its mark by offering freshly made, hand-tossed pizzas that are loaded with high-quality toppings.  Over the years Woodstock’s has won numerous awards for its fresh, flavorful pizzas and for being a favorite hangout among college students.

“Obviously, we put a lot of thought into each Woodstock’s location and are confident we made a good choice moving into PB,” said Jeff Ambrose, president and majority owner of Woodstock’s Pizza.  “Pacific Beach is the perfect community for Woodstock’s.  We have always been popular with the college crowd; having locations in several major university towns for more than 25 years, has allowed us to build a loyal following of Woodstock’s “alumni” who will frequent our new location.  The casual, fun atmosphere that has been a Woodstock’s tradition fits right in with the lifestyle of Pacific Beach and neighboring communities.”

Woodstock’s Pizza’s eight locations include Chico, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Davis, Isla Vista, the Slice of Woodstock’s on the campus of UC Santa Barbara and two in San Diego.  For more information, contact Kara Ferguson at 619/857-3535 or visit www.woodstocksca.com.
