‘Fight Fire with Pizza’ Campaign Promises Continued Support

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- In support of firefighters
throughout the county working non-stop to diminish the devastating fires in
San Diego County, Woodstock's Pizza will be donating pizzas through the
"Fight Fire with Pizza" campaign. For every extra-large pizza purchased for
the firefighters and evacuees, Woodstock's Pizza will match with a free
pizza and delivery as long as assistance is needed.
In October 2003, Woodstock's Pizza delivered over 600 pizzas to
firefighters in San Diego County.
Unfortunately, the fires have returned and Woodstock's Pizza is gearing
up to support the fight. Woodstock's employees and ownership are committed
to working overtime making and delivering pizzas to hungry and tired
firefighters spread throughout San Diego County. Additionally, 80 pizzas
valued at $1,440 were delivered to two Salvation Army shelters on Monday,
October 22.
"We are so grateful to all of the brave firefighters who are risking
their lives to save our communities," state Jeff and Laura Ambrose, owners
of Woodstock's Pizza and San Diego natives. "And our hearts go out to all
of those who have been displaced by these fires."
