Wood-fired pizza and live music are the ticket for a good time all summer in Berne, Minnesota. 

Postbulletin.com describe hungry crowds and busy workers at the fourth annual Berne Wood Fired Pizza and Summer Concert Series. The event is put on by the Zwingli United Church of Christ. Thousands stop by every Wednesday during the summer for hot pizza and and lively music. Last Wednesday's festivities included stone throwing, yodeling, folk dancing and cultural music.June through August about 45 volunteers bake 500 to 600 pizzas in wood-fired, outdoor ovens. The congregation started the pizza nights four years ago in order to raise money after Swiss Fest had run its course.
