“We’re very happy that we can now offer the residents and families of Waterloo a new pizza take-out and delivery option,” said Sam Amiri, manager of both the Kitchener and Waterloo locations. “With two Topper’s Pizzas in this area we can now service the entire region more efficiently and reach more people.”
This new location, which marks Topper’s 35th store in Ontario, is located at 851 Fischer-Hallman Road, Waterloo, and is the second location for franchise partners husband and wife Ali Amiri and Susan Darakhshan, local residents who have owned the existing Kitchener store since 2006. Along with Ali Amari and Susan Darakhshan, Sina Darakhshan, Susan’s brother, and his wife are partnering with them in this venture.
Keeping in tradition with the family-centric values that Topper’s Pizza promotes, the Waterloo store is not just owned by local family members, but also managed and operated by their children, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews – all members of the same family.
“It’s such a testament to our brand when existing franchisees decide to expand their business into new cities,” said Keith Toppazzini, president of Topper’s Franchise Company Inc., owner of the Topper’s Pizza brand. “This new family-owned location clearly reflects the Amiri’s commitment to building a strong community presence while providing delicious food.”
