EARLE ENTERPRISES, PARENT COMPANY OF CRANKY PAT’S, EVOLVES ITS NEWEST BRAND

Neenah, WI

When Earle Enterprises purchased Village Pub Pizza Inc. in September of this year, the brand had a solid following. Yet owner David Earle and his staff saw ways to improve the Winneconne, Wisconsin, brand: changes you’ll notice in both the packaging and what’s inside.

“We wanted to maintain the handmade, local tradition of Village Pub,” said Earle, “but our experience making Cranky Pat’s frozen pizzas taught us that a few changes especially switching to a better thin crust could drastically improve the taste.” Like the Cranky Pat’s brand, the new Village Pub pizzas are
based on months of experimenting and tasting to get just the right product.

Frozen pizzas shoppers will notice a much different label on the revamped pizzas as well. While the old label had a discount pizza feel, the new look places Village Pub among more high-end pizzas, right where it belongs. “Research tells us that consumers make their decision to buy based on taste and quality
of ingredients not on price,” noted Jeff Hovarter, sales manager for Earle Enterprises.

Earle Enterprises, located in Neenah, WI, owns Cranky Pat’s in Neenah as well as Cranky Pat’s frozen pizzas and Village Pub pizzas. Both brands are produced in Neenah and Winneconne, WI, and they’re distributed throughout central Wisconsin.
