For this installment of PMQ Road Trip, Bill Rogers of CulinaryTV and Treasure Rock Productions headed off to Syracuse, New York, for a taste of authentic Neapolitan pizza from Via Napoli Express. Operating two food trucks, Michael Affinito and his Italy-born father offer a feast on wheels to folks in Onondaga County, prepared in Valoriani pizza ovens imported from Italy.

Affinito studied with the masters in Naples to learn his craft and imports his ingredients from Italy. “It’s nice to source local ingredients,” he said, “but when it comes to Neapolitan pizza, it’s important to use the old-country techniques and old-country ingredients.”
