Via 313’s rapid ascent will continue: The Austin, Texas-based, Detroit-style pizza brand announced its first Colorado location.
A soft opening for Via 313 Park Meadows is scheduled for May 13–16, with a grand opening to follow on May 17. A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening will benefit the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. Park Meadows is a shopping center in Lone Tree, Colorado, a southeastern suburb of Denver. The storefront will be Via 313’s 18th location.
“Our goal is to bring the best of Detroit to cities across the country,” Brandon Hunt, who co-founded Via 313 with his brother Zane Hunt, said via press release. “From the small trailer where we started in Austin, Texas, to our first location in Colorado, it’s always about our signature pizzas with crispy, cheesy edges. We can’t wait to start serving guests in the Denver region.”

In 2020, Via 313 accepted a capital infusion from The Savory Fund, which is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Savory Fund has helped scale the brand in Texas—with locations in the Austin and San Antonio metro areas—and into Utah, and now Colorado.
“It provided an opportunity to scale the brand beyond what we could do on our own and offered upward mobility for our team,” Zane told PMQ on an episode of Peel: A PMQ Pizza Podcast. “The decision to partner with Savory was driven by the need for stability and growth during a challenging time.”
The brothers founded the brand in 2011 as a pizza truck. It was originally a bootstrap operation, Brandon Hunt told PMQ in 2021.
“I was paying myself $250 a week,” Brandon said. “Zane didn’t pay himself for the first two years. We were reinvesting in the business nonstop. We were working 16 hours a day, seven days a week. That’s no exaggeration.”
My, how it’s grown.
