Univex has been around since the 1940s and as a leading manufacturer in the foodservice and food preparation industry, they know a thing or two about innovation, high quality and top production. Univex understands the goals and challenges that companies are facing, and they continuously strive and succeed at helping companies accomplish their goals while overcoming their challenges.

Univex offers many products that are made to produce more, in less time, at the highest quality! The one thing that everyone does not want to waste is time, right? Univex has found and created a system that clearly demonstrates how you can reduce time, increase efficiency and still get the great quality product you always want.

Welcome the Univex Pizza System! Univex has taken the entire cycle of pizza making and put a new twist to it! The Univex Pizza System consists of Four Parts: uMix, uDivide, uSpin and uBake. Everything you need to create fabulous and delicious pizza, all while saving time, labor and increasing production.

All four of these steps are designed for innovation and efficiency. They have even received testimonials that companies have saved up to 60% of their labor cost from using this system!

Daniel Tsiakos, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said the Univex Pizza System is extremely unique and one of a kind. When asked the question, “What made Univex think of this process?” he replied, “Over our many years of experience, we have realized that the biggest challenge companies are having is being able to produce a higher quantity of their product while maximizing time and labor efficiencies. We tend to see companies having to hire more employees based off the number of pizzas they aim to produce a day. Our system eliminates the need for more employees as it is mostly automated and designed for decreasing time while increasing quality and productivity.”

Univex makes it clear this system is really geared towards the end user. It shows that, as the consumer, you can use your recipe and your pizza, while utilizing Univex’s cost efficiencies and labor savings to aid in your success.

When asked Daniel what part of the system really separates Univex from their competitors, he proudly stated, “The Univex Dough Divider/Rounder and the Univex Pizza Sprizza."

“Our Dough Divider/Rounder is a semi-automated system made to save time as well as labor. What we did was take the job of two employees and turned it into one automated system. This gives users the ability to work more efficiently and get the same results time and time again.”

“Most companies either have a dough rounder or a dough divider,” he continued. “What we have is unlike any other and, more importantly, saves companies a lot of money. It is a very easy machine to use, so you do not have to train your new employees for hours upon hours or have a chef needing to be around, thus changing the way companies are hiring their employees.”

One of the more popular pieces of equipment Univex offers is their Pizza Sprizza. A key component of their pizza system, this machine mimics hand-tossed dough at top quality in much faster time!

The micro-rolling system makes the pizza base without heating, with the same kind of result as would be obtained by a master pizza-maker. “This is one of our most popular products,” Daniel stated.

“When people come to demo our Sprizza or see it at a trade show, they are amazed and impressed at how it works and how efficient it really is. It is an easy-to-operate, easy-to-clean piece of equipment that produces nothing but top-quality pizza dough.”

When asked how the Sprizza compares to other pizza spreaders in the industry, Daniel was very quick to respond. “Consistency. No matter how thick or how thin you want your dough, it is going to be very consistent. This is due to the fact that it spins from the center outward. This also means you will see the crust forming on the outer ring of the dough. Other companies have similar products, but nothing that will produce the high quality and consistency of our Sprizza.”

Univex will be presenting their Pizza System at the Pizza and Pasta Northeast Event Booth #319, on Oct. 17-18th in Atlantic City N.J., where you can see live demonstrations of our equipment as well as taste some freshly made pizza! You can also follow them on social media via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
