Tyson FoodService Recognized by JDA Software

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (May 29, 2007)­JDA Software Group, Inc., headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., has recognized Tyson Foods, Inc. for it’s success in forecasting accuracy related to product inventory.  JDA develops supply-chain management software that offers integrated communications solutions connecting the entire supply chain from manufacturer to customer.
 
Software solutions developed by JDA and implemented by Tyson Foods have allowed the company to improve product inventory forecasting by 10 to 15 percent since it was implemented in 2002.  Improved forecasting allows Tyson Foods to reduce waste, better manage inventory utilization and provide higher levels of customer satisfaction.  The JDA “Real Results” award was presented to Tyson Foods during the JDA Focus meeting in New Orleans this April.
