Ketogenic diets have been popular in the United States for the past few years, and Canada is no exception. Pizza Pizza launched its newest keto pizza crust this week, boasting only two grams of net carbs per slice.

A recent study found that 15% of Canadians are currently on or have tried the keto diet, and 18% are likely to try it in the future.

The dough these pies are made from is called “Keto Uncrust,” made in a partnership with a fellow Toronto-based Unbun Foods Inc. The company creates bakery products that are certified keto, paleo, grain-free, and gluten-free. This can make the company appealing to consumers looking for dietary alternatives to the traditional dough.
