Round Table Pizza is expanding in the Reno, Nevada, metropolitan area.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, the California-based brand announced its latest restaurant, which will be the fifth Round Table Pizza location in the Reno area.

“We’re proud to showcase our continued growth in Northern Nevada, which has been a strong market for our concept for years,” said David Pear, president of Round Table Pizza. “We look forward to welcoming old and new guests alike to our brand-new location to feast on our fan-favorite pizzas brimming with flavor such as our King Arthur’s Supreme and Italian Garlic Supreme.”

Originally founded in 1959, Round Table Pizza was acquired by FAT (which stands for “fresh, authentic, tasty”) Brands Inc. in 2021. It had been owned by Global Franchise Group, based in Atlanta, Georgia, between 2017–2021. The brand, which owns a combination of full-service and DELCO locations, has over 400 stores across the U.S.

In 2019, on its 60th anniversary, Round Table Pizza changed its motto to “Pizza Royalty.” The brand was founded in Menlo Park, California, by William Larson, and, according to a press release from the brand, has become known for its “homemade dough, made from scratch, and rolled fresh daily.” It is also said to be known for its “dedication to using gold-standard ingredients like hand-sliced vegetables, high-quality meats, and the brand’s signature three cheese blend. Each pizza is hand-crafted with legendary toppings layered to the edge of Round Table’s perfectly baked crust.”

The latest Round Table Pizza restaurant is located at 115 E. Moana Lane, Reno, Nevada. Last month, FAT Brands Inc. announced plans to open 80 new stores featuring a co-brand between FAT Burger and Round Table Pizza. The brand had previously announced it would open about 12 of those co-branded locations.
